Opticom Kenya Limited welcomes Florence Saronge as the new General Manager, strengthening the security technology trend setter’s growth strategy. In this role Florence will mainly focus on the overall business management and performance, strategic planning, providing continuous business improvement and managing the entire customer relationship spectrum. Additionally, she will also be responsible for the Company’s financial performance and growth, people management and ensuring compliance of the various business processes.

Florence brings on board an exciting array of skills, compounded by a vast wealth of experience in highly intensive sales, marketing and customer oriented business backgrounds. She has over 20 years’ experience both in local and international markets. She has worked with Coca-Cola Beverages holding various positions including Key Accounts Manager, Regional Key Account Manager, and Channel Sales & Marketing Manager. She has also worked in Tanzania with Coca-Cola East & Central Africa as an Operational Marketing Manager.
Additionally, she has worked with Orange Telkom Kenya as a Chief Marketing & Strategy Manager, Head of Public Sector Sales and as a Business Development Manager. She also brings to Opticom extensive experience from BAT East & Central Africa where she was the Ready for Future Development Manager. She was also the Head of Trade-Marketing & Distribution, Shopper Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager. Her most recent experience is as a Strategy & Business Management Consultant with RI Consultants, Nairobi.
She holds a Marketing & Strategic MBA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Sciences with additional skills in talent development, project management and business development.
