PROJECT OVERVIEW


Diageo embarked on a comprehensive facility revamp, encompassing hard stands, industrial installations
roads, security, access control, and building constructions.


CHALLENGES


The challenges faced included the demolition and removal of existing facilities within confined spaces,
addressing a high-water table for stable installations, and managing a large influx of contractors, both local
and international, exceeding 800 individuals. Additionally, coordinating the movement of delivery, working, and
disposal vehicles presented logistical complexities.


SOLUTION


The solution implemented focused on consistent onboarding of contractors to meet Health and Safety
requirements, conducting risk assessments, and developing work method statements aligned with
stakeholders. Daily task planning and execution monitoring ensured compliance with set standards.


BENEFITS


The benefits realized from the project were notable, achieving 100% compliance with statutory health and
safety requirements, facilitating timely communication of daily expectations, fostering a consistent understanding of goals, and ensuring seamless coordination among different task groups for safe execution.
