• Make sure you have two ways out of each room.
• Have a safe assembly place outside your home.
• Practice your fire escape plan with all the family members.
• Make sure you share the escape plan with everyone in home, including guests.
• Educate older people and children in your house regarding fire safety and also people with mobility issues.

• Do you put out candles, diyas and incense sticks whenever you leave your house?
• Do you know the numbers of your nearest fire brigade and the emergency number to call in case of fire?
