Access Control Systems
Access control is a tool by which you can maintain security of your premises locally or remotely. It is also a method for auditing and administering the movement of people through your property. In the event of a crime or an emergency it should be flexible and smart enough to allow the free-flow of traffic without inhibiting an evacuation of your building.
In addition to safety and ease of use, you will value the reports of who was in what areas of your premises and when, through our expertise. We favour brands that are cost effective and which operate with low overheads or
consumable requirements; whether it is reprogramming of cards or piggy-backing on your existing IT infrastructure, you can rest assured we have your budget in mind.
We have worked in many industries and implemented state-of-the-art technologies from leading manufacturers including PAC, Paxton, Honeywell and C-Cure. Installations are undertaken by highly skilled professionals with minimum downtime or disruption to your business. We offer our service to all types of customers, from small local companies to large multinationals.
Broadly speaking there are two types of Access Control System we provide:
Opticom will design and install your access control system, as well as integrate your badging and visitor entry needs. We’ll provide either a software- or web-based management application, which your team can use to easily manage your access system directly. This solution is ideal for small- to mid-sized offices or facilities with consistent schedules and staffing.
In addition to installing your system, Opticom will provide complete remote management of your system. We can administer your badging and cardholder database, manage door lock schedules, and provide activity/exception reports as needed. We can also grant access to your premises for nominated individuals from our sophisticated Control Centre, if you have CCTV running alongside Access Control.
Enterprise Managed Access affords businesses operating multiple facilities or large complexes (including universities or other multi-site environments) complete control of their portfolio. Network IP compatibility allows integration with databases to determine the varying access requirements at all locations through a server-based access control software application. Whatever the scope of your needs you can be sure we have a system to suit your needs so give Opticom a call today to discuss your requirements or arrange a free, no obligation consultation.
